**YOU**

You want to be an important member of a strong team of other makers who take pride in their work and support each other. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for maintaining the workflow of the Automatics department by coordinating with all department personnel to ensure the timely delivery of all raw materials and components to proper workstations. Coordinate with branch personnel to ensure the timely delivery of all finished goods to the proper location. Maintain locations of component inventories for the Automatics department. This position is Monday through Thursday 4:30pm to 3am. Thats year one. If career growth is important to you, we not only know how to help you with that, its what we love to do: .

**WHAT YOULL BE DOING** (% of Time)

Assist in all Automatics operations by coordinating with the department personnel in order to ensure proper deliver of pallets, components, material, and finished goods into designated areas by following both verbal and written instructions. (85%)

Run production equipment when required; assist in labeling and packing of items as needed. (5%)

Fill and maintain all home location and component racking. (5%)

Maintain cleanliness of equipment area. Maintain all scrap and trash hoppers. (5%)

**DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**

If you can do everything listed above, youve got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:

* High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.

* Simpson Strong-Tie Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Certification (will certify at hire) required.

* 6 months related experience and/or training.

* Math: Ability to apply fundamentals of geometry and trigonometry as well as able to apply concepts of fractions, percentages, and proportions. Ability to read a tape measure.

* Language: Ability to read and write standard work instructions and correspondence.

* Speaking: Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

* Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving variables encountered during the manufacturing process.

* Problem Solving: Ability to identify options for solving a problem encountered during the manufacturing process.

**WORK STATUS & LOCATION**

This full-time, non-exempt position is located in Columbus, OH.

**RELOCATION**

Relocation is not available for this position.
