This position is located in Boise, full-time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, 40 hours per week, with full benefits.This position is eligible for the PERSI benefits package, including:+ Excellent low-cost medical, dental, and vision insurance+ Generous vacation and sick leave accrual beginning as soon as you start+ Eligibility for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF)+ Paid parental leave+ Eleven paid holidays per year+ PERSI retirement (ersi.idaho.gov/) , one of the nation's best state retirement systems+ Multiple savings plans+ Life insurance+ A healthy work/life balance+ Wellness programs; ongoing training opportunities; and moreResponsibilities:+ Monitor daily Plan operations to ensure compliance with the plan document as well as relevant federal and state requirements.+ Work closely with the Plan s record keeper to ensure appropriate and accurate data collection and that records are processed, maintained, and reported to PERSI at regular, designated intervals.+ Provide a full range of consultation and education about the Plan to internal staff, employers, and plan participants.+ Collaborate with the Choice 401(k) Plan Manager Plan Manager in developing a communication and education strategy for participants and employers, for individuals as well as group presentations.+ Analyze information, identify problems, define alternatives, and develop recommendations for management/administrators.+ Maintain confidential and sensitive information.+ Maintain a customer service-oriented approach that supports PERSI s Mission and fosters a positive culture in support of PERSI s Core Values.+ Other additional and/or alternative duties as assigned from time to time, including supporting other departments or Executives as needed.Minimum Qualifications (must be reflected in your resume):+ Experience:+ + Interpreting and applying regulations or policies and procedures.+ Planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating special projects.+ Independently researching, compiling, developing and summarizing material for reports on a frequent or recurring basis.+ Analyzing information, identifying problems, defining alternatives and developing recommendations for management/administrators+ Desired Qualifications:+ + Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.+ Basic knowledge of defined contribution plan administration.+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.+ Strong time-management and organization skills.+ Experience with common office software including spreadsheets and documents.+ Flexible team player, willing to adapt to changes and accept challenges.When applying, please submit a cover letter and a detailed resume by the closing date.Candidates who reach the final hiring stage will be required to participate in a criminal background check.
