DescriptionAWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations from foundational services such as Amazon s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.The Code Services ADC team is looking for seasoned DevOps engineer with CI/CD experience. As a member of the team, you will be exposed to an array AWS services and technologies. Our Systems Development Engineers work in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with commercial service teams to deliver cutting-edge services for our customers. Code Services ADC team members own the scaling and management of the AWS Code Services - such as CodeDeploy, CodeBuild, and CodePipeline - across AWS regions supporting the US Government.This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.Key job responsibilitiesWe are looking for engineers passionate about both development and operations with a strong desire to learn. This is a true DevOps role; you will be both allowed and expected to follow problems all the way to the end, and work on implementing real solutions and not just quick fixes. Candidates who enjoy diving deep to understand how large, distributed systems work will excel in this position.
