Your role as a Closing Specialist:

Reviewing and identifying any unusual or suspicious activity to determine any potential risks.

Communicating with internal and external parties involved in the funding process with regard to file status for any additional questions or documentation needed.

Conducting of funding calls and merchant, lease and landlord verification calls and bank verifications.

Pulling and analyzing relevant reports, including CLEAR Reports.

Reviewing closing documentation to analyze files and ensure they are complete and in full compliance with Breakout Capital policies

Manage finalization, completion and execution of closing documentation.

Collaborating with Credit and Sales teams to ensure files are processed accurately and efficiently.

Preparation and completion of funding checklists to ensure all required information is gathered and questions answered.

Manage follow up with merchants to request outstanding or additional information.

File UCC financing statements (UCC-1s and UCC-3s) perfecting Breakout Capital s security interest over the borrower s pledged assets, amending UCC filings and terminating UCC filings.

Ability to identify credit risk factors.

Qualifications:

Verifiable experience excelling in fast-paced environment.

Strong analytical skills; logically and operationally minded with attention to risk management.

Ability to balance a variety of tasks simultaneously while staying extremely organized and detail oriented.

Enthusiastic, team-focused personality.

Ability to operate with a sense of urgency.

Desire to learn, grow, and be coached.

Computer proficiency and experience with CRMs, G-Suite & MS Office systems (including Excel).

Exposure to or knowledge of various regulatory agencies preferred.

Previous work experience in a loan processing role is a plus.
