Prime Response Inc. (PRI) is seeking a full-time Lead Warehousing Specialists for a long-term government contract located in Arlington, VA. - Helps manage warehouse functions such as receiving, inspecting, stocking, inventory, filling orders, and loading and unloading trucks.
- Assemble/disassemble furniture.
- Furniture moves and relocations.
- Minor furniture repairs.
- Transporting bulk items.
- Destruction Bin Replenishment.
- Pick-up and delivery of various bulk items.
- General Housekeeping.
- Operating Material Handling Equipment.
- Operating the Warehouse Management System.
- Understands warehousing processes and systems.
- Understands inventory management systems.
- Experience with furniture moving.
- Ability to use a computer.
- Ability to work independently.
- Highly dependable and punctual.
Requirements - Must be able to pass a Federal background check and drug test.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving required.
- Experience leading/managing a team.
- Experience driving box trucks preferred.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of logistics and warehousing experience, focusing on warehouse functions such as receiving, inspecting, stocking, inventory, filling orders, and loading and unloading trucks.
- Experience with Government contracts is preferred.
- Must have knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Must be capable of standing, bending, and walking for the majority of a workday.
- Ability to lift and carrying moderately heavy material (up to 50 lbs).
