In this position, you will be required to have a license through the Illinois State Board of Cosmetology for hair styling. You will be responsible for scheduling and confirming appointments, hair coloring and cuts, and maintaining a professional attitude. You will provide sanitation and safety practices. You will have an understanding of hairdressing techniques. You must keep up to date with the latest hair, techniques and trends.**Responsibilities:**+ Offering hair care and hair styling consultations.+ Recommending hair styling products.+ Providing full-service hair styling from shampooing and cutting to colouring and other treatments.+ Making recommendations for hair styles.+ Performing scalp treatments.+ Staying updated on ongoing hair styling trends.**Requirements:**+ Adult CPR/AED certification through the American Heart Association, Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required.+ Cosmetology license through the state of Illinois required.+ Excellent communication skills.+ Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.+ Flu vaccination required.Brand: HealthFitnessHealthFitness is committed to leveraging the talent of a diverse workforce to create great opportunities for our people and our business.
