Shift: M-F (5am-1:30pm)
Job Description:
NCW is searching for a Warehouse Temporary Lead who will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities of the warehouse team members, to ensure operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will perform various duties including clerical, maintaining processing and storage areas, equipment, and supplies, assisting and training all associates assigned to daily tasks, and organizing the warehouse. You must be dependable, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently maintains asset inventory to include, but not limited to all inbound & outbound areas.
- Executes proper tracking of company assets and commodities.
- Provide quality customer service to all partners, including stores, 3rd party logistics team, loss prevention team, and transportation team.
- Supports associate engagement within the building to achieve daily results & objectives.
- Follow all safety and organization procedures.
- Other duties assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of experience preferred.
- Skilled at Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Oracle, etc.).
- Cross functional training and ability to perform operations warehouse material moving equipment (Balers, Fork trucks, etc.)
- Physically able to lift 50lbs.
- Ability to count, select, sort, pack and/or handle commodities and fixtures.
- Support Supervisor in onboarding new hires.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Basic math skills required.
