You will be joining a world-class marketing communications team responsible for our globally distributed branded content, which generates 1-2 million daily impressions on our social media alone.


As the Manager for our Global Community team, you'll play a crucial role in providing strategic leadership. Your primary responsibilities involve strategizing, planning, and curating proactive community management and activities to create compelling organic engagement. The ideal candidate possesses outstanding interpersonal skills, a global perspective, and an in-depth understanding of community dynamics across various platforms such as Meta Apps, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Reddit, Discord, and more. Responsibilities

  • Community Operations Management: Serve as the central point of contact for all community activities, efficiently routing them to relevant teams and stakeholders.
  • Strategic Community Development: Develop and execute a cutting-edge community strategy, focusing on creating engaging organic content and impactful storytelling.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments within the Communications team, including Content, Creative, and Production, to develop content plans and innovative campaigns.
  • Engagement Strategy: Devise and implement initiatives to boost organic community engagement, interaction, and participation across various platforms and channels.
  • Sentiment Management: Ensure consistent and high-quality messaging across social communication channels, fostering positive word-of-mouth and brand sentiment.
  • Crisis Resolution: Proactively manage and resolve community issues and conflicts in a prompt, professional, and diplomatic manner.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices on social media and community platforms, including Meta Apps, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Reddit, Discord, and more.
  • Advocacy Programs: Develop and oversee programs to identify and empower community advocates and ambassadors who can effectively promote the community externally.
  • Performance Analytics: Continuously monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of community initiatives, facilitating data-driven decision-making for improvement.


Requirements

  • Bachelor s Degree or equivalent in English, Business, Marketing, or Communications
  • At least 5 to 7 years experience in community marketing globally
  • Creative examples of your Community and Social work such as a website, portfolio or other.
  • Knowledge of, and passion for, the gaming, pop culture & esports industries
  • Strong creative thinking skills and ability to think conceptually
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects, teams, and tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate asset tracking, version control, and quality control.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and collaboration among diverse creative teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve issues, roadblocks, and challenges that arise during project execution.
  • Demonstrates time management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time and within deadlines.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and shifting deadlines.
  • Knowledge of community principles and content creation processes to effectively coordinate campaigns and projects.
