Job Details
**We are currently hiring for a Warehouse Associate that has previous Forklift operation, inventory, and packing experience for a company in the Sterling, VA area.** Associates will be receiving freight into the warehouse, unloading trucks, and then re-packing the freight to be shipped to clients. Must have inventory and warehouse experience. Will be moving a minimum of 10-20 units of freight per day.
**9am - 5pm Monday - Friday**
**$18/hr - $20/hr DOE**
**Essential Job Duties Include:**
50% use radio frequently or picking, receiving, and storing freight, as required
10% ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damages or defects
10% operate product handling equipment safely and efficiently while loading and unloading freight
10% perform labeling, sorting, and re-packing as needed
5% perform inventory procedures accurately and with the utmost integrity
General business support function as assigned
Ships and receives cargo according to the applicable regulatory and or voluntary associations' requirements: TSA, C-TPAT and or TAPA.
Performs product selection and package preparation for shipment.
Assists with pallet and cargo preparation.
Cleans facility and/or trash compactor.
