Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Secretary to provide clerical and administrative support to our department management and staff. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling various administrative tasks efficiently. This role will involve reception duties, customer service, and general office support.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors at the reception desk, handling walk-ins and directing inquiries.
- Manage incoming calls and emails, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Prepare reports, memos, and correspondence using word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Maintain organized files for departmental records and documentation.
- Plan and schedule departmental meetings and travel arrangements.
- Prepare and submit expense reports, monitor office supplies, and process invoices.
- Assist with shipping materials and other departmental projects as needed.
- Provide general administrative support to department management and staff.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of previous secretarial or administrative experience.
- Intermediate to advanced PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Access/SQL).
- Basic knowledge of accounting functions and experience with business writing.
- Ability to work well independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- General knowledge of the insurance industry preferred.
- Good public relation skills and some business training preferred.
- Ability to multitask, pay attention to detail, and work in a structured yet flexible manner.
- Self-starter with strong motivation and resilience.
Hours: M-F, 9-5 onsite
Compensation: $22-$23

Education: Bachelor Degree preferred or equivalent years of experience
