Scrum Master


Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our growing team. The qualified applicants will become part of the Enterprise Data Analytics Services (EDAS) program for a large federal agency in Alexandria, VA. Hybrid work is required.

Required Skills

  • Experience with gathering and documenting technical and business requirements.
  • Experience as a Scrum Master of a development team.
  • Experience working with stakeholders to define business goals and processes and help shape and define business and technology transformation initiatives.
  • Manage a team of team resources to plan and develop solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Lead initiatives that span strategy and road map exercises, architecture definition, product selection, application and integration design, and implementation
  • Organize and facilitate project planning, sprint stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint releases, and other scrum ceremonies.
  • Proficient in JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and SQL.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience working with stakeholders and internal teams to perform gap analysis, data analysis, and document requirements.
  • Experience using JIRA and Confluence for managing sprints and project documentation.
  • Experience writing database SQL queries for data analysis.
  • Experience managing a scrum team and performing all the sprint ceremonies.
  • Experience with leading Business Intelligence tools such as OBIEE, Tableau, IBM Cognos, or Business Objects.
  • Experience working on Data Analytics projects AWS Migration.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, build relationships, and work effectively with internal and external partners.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • Minumum 6 years of experience in the IT Industry working with a software development team.
  • Experience working on a project at a Federal Government Agency.
Education/Certifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field of study.
  • Scrum Master Certification
Clearance Requirements:
  • Ability to attain and maintain a Public Trust.
