Event Operations Crew Member (Part-Time)

Circuit of The Americas Operations team is in search of a highly motivated, organized and most importantly, enthusiastic individual who is interested in working within the heart of the live entertainment industry of Central Texas. As a Circuit of The Americas Event Operations Crew Member, you can expect to develop your operations and project management skills, as well as gain valuable real-world experience in the live entertainment industry. Working within the core Operations team, this opportunity exposes the Operations Crew to the key functions of racing and live entertainment. This position will report to the entire Operations team and support with operational and facility duties.

**Responsibilities:**

- Support planning, development, and execution of concerts, races, and showcase events, across all venues (race track, amphitheater, and private event space).

- Work directly with event managers to accomplish event builds in a timely manner.

- Reset event spaces to prepare facility for incoming private rentals.

- Communicate effectively to assure all event details are planned & executed flawlessly.

- Maintain, inventory, and store COTA assets regularly.

- Occasionally assist with contracted vendors during events.

- Assist operations team in day to day activities.

- Other duties and special projects as assigned.

**Qualifications:**

- Must be 18 years of age or older

- Valid Driver's License required

- Completion of High School Diploma or GED

- A degree in Business Administration, Sports Management or related field is preferred, but not required

- Must be able to commit to a minimum work schedule of 20 hours per week

- Flexible schedule preferred, with chances for extended hours during events

- Detail-oriented, exceptional attention to detail, and ability to juggle multiple tasks

- Excellent organization and communication skills

- Ability to conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times

- Experience operating heavy equipment a plus

- Avid sports car and live event fan a plus

**Physical Demands:**

- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 lbs.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear

- The employee is frequently required to stand; walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel or crouch

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include depth perception

- Must be able to endure seasonal temperatures as working conditions requires constant outdoor work

**Work Environment:**

- While performing the duties of this position, the employee is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, wet or humid conditions, outdoor weather conditions, extreme cold, and extreme heat

- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud during events
