Advertising Sales Executive


Job Details

LHH is seeking a motivated and results-driven Advertising Sales Executive to join our client's team. This role involves a combination of proactive outreach to businesses for advertising opportunities in magazines and at tradeshows, as well as responding to incoming inquiries.


Responsibilities:

  • Follow up via email and phone calls with leads to discuss advertising opportunities and send out advertising plans.
  • Cold call businesses to introduce our advertising services and generate new leads.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative advertising solutions tailored to clients' needs.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities.


Requirements:

  • 2 years of sales experience, preferably in advertising or media communications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Availability to travel for tradeshows or client meetings as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Recent experience selling media communications, including digital ads, print media, etc.
  • Familiarity with advertising industry trends and best practices.
  • Experience working with advertising agencies or media companies.


Salary: $45K + Commission + Monthly stipend
