Description:


Primary Job Responsibilities To create and modify 2-D CAD models that clearly represents the design intent to support custom product (SPR NSPR) grilles, and shaped product for customer orders To maintain and ensure expected standards and best practices are being followed during the model and documentation creation. To assist in validating and auditing the viability of the engineers request. Create drawings that represent the customer requirements for custom products (e.g. custom grille patterns, art glass, geometric shape products, etc.) Provide product data CAD information to cross-functional groups formatted to meet their business requirements. (e.g. CSRs, PST Group, Materials Management, Supply Chain, etc.) Perform comparative checks and validate product rules to ensure information is within the boundaries of the product rules. Ensure documentation is organized and stored properly for retrieval, maintenance, and historical purposes utilizing appropriate tools and techniques as defined by department procedures. Assist with preparation of schedules and timetables relating to timely completion of tasks. Establish and maintain a knowledge base of internal and external customers. Additional work to be established, prioritized, and reviewed frequently by supervisor or higher level technical employee. Secondary Job Responsibilities Update 3-D Product Engineering documentation to accurately represent the red-line changes aligning to the corporate standards, procedures and best practices. Participate in training sessions for documentation creation processes and corporate standard requirements. Develop renderings / visualizations of CAD geometry for customer presentation. Develop basic prototypes and fixtures by carrying out concepts developed by others.
