Job Description Material Handler - 2nd Shift ( **Job Number:**

Responsible for the accurate and timely physical movement of material throughout the facility.
* Complies with all prescribed Safety and GMP procedures
* Actively supports Continuous Improvement initiatives
* Interact timely and constructively with internal customers
* Breakdown pallets when necessary to meet the exact transfer order quantity
* Weigh and return mass to proper storage and bin location (i.e. hazardous, refrigerated, heated, etc.) following proper material handling guidelines
* Transfer drums and/or containers of mass weighing up to 640 lbs. from pallet to pallet when necessary.
* Confirm accuracy of material against transfer requirements and transfer orders.
* Cycle count bins as outlined in department and corporate cycle count guidelines
* Verify accuracy of material movement
* Wrap pallets securely meeting shipping guidelines
* Keep warehouse free of debris and maintain GMP guidelines
* Perform other duties as assigned
* **MACHINES /INSTRUMENTS/SYSTEMS USED** : Hand truck, Powered Material Handling Equipment (PMHE), drum lift, computer, SAP, pallet wrapping machine, RF, calculator, wrench and screw drivers, scales
**Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Must be able to read, write and understand English
* Proficient computer skills and strong math skills (addition, subtraction, percentages, averages)
* Must have strong communication and problem solving skills
* Physical effort ability to lift up to 35 lbs
* PMHE License as required
* Must be detail oriented
* Demonstrated interpersonal skills
* May be required to work on different shifts and at other ELC local facilities
