Vice President of Estimating
Are you looking to lead a Civil Estimating Team for a Large Heavy Highway, Civil Contractor?We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Estimating to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mass excavation, underground utilities, paving, and structures construction in hard bid, and negotiated Alternative Delivered projects with a deep understanding of the estimating process and the ability to lead a team of estimators.As the Vice President of Estimating, you will be responsible for managing the estimating process from start to finish, including preparing bids, negotiating contracts, and managing the budget and schedule for projects. You will also be responsible for coaching and mentoring the estimating team and working closely with other departments to ensure that all project requirements are met.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.At least 10 years of experience in heavy highway and heavy civil construction, with a strong focus on estimating, 5 of these in a Chief Estimating capacity.Proven track record of successfully leading and managing a team of estimators.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.Computer literate with HCSS, Primavera, Agtek, Bluebeam, etc.
