Focus:
- Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and streamline workflow to enhance efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels of business supplies and raw materials, addressing shortages promptly.
- Ensure product stock is sufficient for all distribution channels and customer demands.
- Record daily deliveries and shipments, reconciling inventory accurately.
- Utilize inventory management software to monitor demand and document inventory characteristics.
- Place orders to replenish stock, optimizing inventory levels to avoid shortages or surplus.
- Analyze data to anticipate future inventory needs and optimize logistics processes.
- Evaluate suppliers to secure cost-effective deals and maintain trust relationships.
- Collaborate with warehouse employees and cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- Maintain a positive team morale, resolve grievances, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Conduct interviews, hire new employees, and identify skill development opportunities through coaching and counseling.
- Perform annual performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and recognition as appropriate.
Skill Set:
- Bachelor s degree in supply chain management, economics, finance, operations, engineering, or related field; Master s degree preferred.
- Proven experience as an Inventory or Warehouse Manager in the manufacturing industry.
- Excellent knowledge of inventory management software (such as ERP), enterprise risk management and business continuity planning.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to track inventory accurately and generate reports.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively at the corporate level.
- Excellent communication and listening skills to address internal customer needs effectively.
- Strategic mindset and adept problem-solving abilities.
- Change management skills to adapt to dynamic stakeholder requirements.
