Title: Business Development Coordinator

Reports to: Director of Business Development


The Construction Business Development Coordinator plays a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our construction company. This individual represents the company in the industry and is responsible for developing and maintaining robust relationships with both new and existing clients. The coordinator will work closely with the executive and management teams to align business development efforts with the company's strategic objectives, focusing on identifying new project opportunities, enhancing client relationships, and promoting the company's services in the construction industry. This person should be confident in representing SavCon in the industry and have great time management skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Represent the company at industry events and forums to enhance brand awareness and stay informed of the latest trends and opportunities in the construction market.
  • Conduct ongoing market research to stay ahead of industry developments and emerging opportunities. Identify new business opportunities, focusing on developments, trends, and demands in the construction and real estate markets.
  • Manage and keep up to date the CRM database to ensure continuous engagement with clients, keeping the company's services top-of-mind.
  • Brand SavCon in networking opportunities and industry conferences, to build strong relationships and identify business opportunities.
  • Foster relationships with key referral sources in the construction industry, including architects, engineers, and contractors, through targeted outreach efforts and participation in industry events.
  • Track and report on sales activities to cultivate relationships for potential ongoing opportunities form strategic decisions and improve business development efforts.
  • Analyze and understand the specific needs of potential clients to offer customized construction solutions that align with their project goals.
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of prospective clients, presenting strategic insights and opportunities to the management team for decision-making.
  • Prepare and deliver impactful presentations and proposals to potential clients, showcasing the company's capabilities and value proposition in collaboration with the marketing management and estimating teams.
  • Participate in pre-construction meetings to establish a clear understanding of project requirements and opportunities.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients, providing timely updates and follow-ups to strengthen relationships and client satisfaction.



Preferred Qualification:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Business Relationship Management /Public Relations/ Communications or Construction Management/ Sales and Marketing
  • Experience in relationship selling and networking in B2B role preferable in the AEC Industry (Architects/Engineers/Construction)
