Role: Defense Paralegal
Location: Jersey City, NJ; Hybrid Remote Work Schedule
Pay Rate: $70,000-75,000/Year
Our client is seeking a Defense Paralegal to join their fast-paced and highly successful firm.
Job Responsibilities:
Interview and screen clients.
Prepare memos summarizing the interviews for the supervising attorney.
Communicate with insurance carriers, opposing counsel and courtroom staff.
Attend site, accident or vehicle inspections.
Review damage information, prepare damage summaries and calculate damage.
Maintain the schedules and calendars of the supervising attorneys.
Requirements:
Experience in - 3-5 Years of Paralegal Experience
o Defense Litigation Experience Preferred
Proficient in - Legal and Research Databases, Microsoft Office Suite, Transcription Software
Soft Skills - Organized, Strong Communicator, Self-Starter, Attention to Detail, Multi-Tasker
Education - Bachelor's Degree Required
