Job Details

Exit Planning Institute (EPI) is a professional education company with an internal marketing department. The Marketing Assistant is responsible for supporting the Director of Marketing, Marketing Manager, and managing ongoing marketing projects specifically social media and graphic design. The Marketing team is responsible for several ongoing projects at all times. The Marketing Assistant must possess the ability to both lead and assist when necessary. A successful candidate for this role will offer meticulous attention to detail, time management, organization, and problem-solving skills. They will report to the Marketing Manager and work closely with our Marketing team.


Key Responsibilities and Duties


  • Assist the Marketing Manager with project management, organizing meetings including scheduling and sending reminders.
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to determine and define project objectives, scope, schedules, and implementation plans to develop and manage a detailed project schedule.
  • Coordinate and manage the Exit Planning Institute s social media channels, including LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and Facebook.
  • Provide graphic design support to the in-house graphic designer.
  • Coordinate and manage internal and external resources needed to reach objectives effectively and efficiently.
  • Arrange recommended vendors and tools that stay within the project s budget.
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
  • Monitor and measure project progress and performance to propose adjustments and areas for improvement as needed.
  • Provide administrative assistance, as needed, such as writing and editing emails, preparing communications on the Director of Marketing s behalf, and organizing meetings including scheduling and sending reminders.


Position Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, business, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of project management and related experience.
  • Graphic Design experience specifically with Adobe Suite and Canva is preferred.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., HubSpot) and familiarity with social media analytics platforms is preferred.
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools (ex. Teamwork), methodologies, and best practices with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Discretion and confidentiality.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills and proven ability to solve problems creatively with a passion for storytelling and content innovation.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment; performs additional duties as assigned.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions to improve content performance.
  • Collaborative mindset, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality and consistency in all content deliverables.


Other Position Information:

  • Hours: Monday Friday 8am 5pm
  • This is a hybrid position
  • Eligible for unlimited Paid Time Off
