We are looking for a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist like you to be a part of our team.Job Summary and QualificationsThe Ultrasound Technologist Lead is responsible for performing all established ultrasound procedures. Considers age-related factors in care, treatment, education and evaluation of patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics. Applies knowledge of age-related factors appropriately in accordance with professional standards and departmental policies and procedures. Perform procedures safely and observes universal precautions at all times. Pursues professional development for the continual improvement of patient care. Performs related work as required.Performs all ultrasound procedures in strict accordance with currently approved practices as outlined in department policy and procedure manuals and complying with all applicable federal, state, local and other regulatory requirements.Communicates to the patient the nature of the procedure and answers questions clarifying the procedure for the patient.Demonstrates practical application of age-related factors.Assures patients rights and privacy are maintained.Reports any significant problems related to patient, physicians, ultrasound procedures, housekeeping, maintenance, supplies, or personnel to Technical Director. What qualifications you will need:Education: Graduate of program in Ultrasound Technology approved by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association or documented equivalent education, experience, and training. Licensure: RDMS Certification: BCLS Required Experience: Ability perform to Ultrasound procedures following accepted standards and protocols.
