Job Description
We are seeking a full-time RN Unit Supervisor for the Cardiac Vascular Neuro ICU (CVNICU). This is a 16-bed unit focusing on vascular and neuro patient population.
Shift: Day shift position - 7:00am-7:00pm (3x12-hour shifts/week).
Candidates are eligible to receive a competitive sign on bonus. Those relocating from more than 50 miles away will also be eligible for relocation assistance.

A Unit Supervisor at Inova is...
- A front-line leader who is accountable for delivering highly reliable results related to Quality and Best Practices to improve clinical operation of the unit; embraces, uses, and understands the research behind nursing practice and quality tools. Supports unit-based shared governance and decentralized decision-making structures and processes.

- Ensuring that care is patient centered. Requirements: A minimum of one year of Registered Nurse Clinical experience; 2+ years of RN experience in ICU preferred.
Recent acute care experience and/or nursing practice experience
Charge nurse experience preferred.
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
Education-BSN or MSN preferred, if Associate Degree then must be within one year of obtaining BSN or MSN.
Completion of revised Charge Nurse Workshop within the first 90 days.
BLS required. Specialty certification (as required by unit) within 1 year of hire.
RN license-licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia
