Red Bank Veterinary Hospital (RBVH) in Tinton Falls, NJ is hiring a full- time dedicated and enthusiastic Veterinary Technician to join our outstanding Exotics team!
The Exotics technician must be outgoing, be able to work independently, possess excellent communication skills, and make use of all available time. The Exotics technician

must have good organizational skills and the ability to perform and work proficiently in a wide variety of daily situations. The technician must also be able to work with every department in the hospital. The Exotics technician provides a link between clients, client services, doctors, and technicians.

Schedule/ Shift Details:

Mid- Shift = 4/ 10 hour shifts per week
Overnight Shift = Thursday - Sunday
Holiday & On- Call requirements

Job Responsibilities:

Stocking & cleaning.
Facilitate the doctor's daily schedule - Including overseeing appointments & surgery.
Caring for hospitalized patients.
Facilitate diagnostics.
Medical record keeping.
1 year of anesthesia experience is a plus, however we are happy to train the right candidate.
Excellent communication.
Strong patient care.
Ability to work successfully in a fast- pace environment amongst multiple doctors and staff members.

Internal Medicine/Intervention Radiology
Oncology/Radiation Therapy
Surgery/Anesthesia
Emergency and Critical Care
In-Patient
Avian and Exotics
Cardiology
Dermatology
Neurology
Dentistry
Educational Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent.
2 - 3 years of experience including anesthesia required.
CVT preferred but not required.
