ModularDesign+, a modular design and fabrication company, has an opportunity for a **Laborer** based in our manufacturing facility in Euless, TX**.** ABOUT THE ROLE Under the supervision of an Area Superintendent, the **Laborer** will perform general physical labor to assist in a variety of construction duties in an indoor modular fabrication plant. Work may include constructing frames, building parts of units, setting tile, and installing finishes.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

* Apply general knowledge to measure, cut, and assemble materials during various phases of construction

* Assist the structural team with constructing frames and perform general labor in a plant environment

* May learn to perform a variety of unskilled and skilled tasks, including setting tile, painting, carpentry work, and final finish

* Provide progress reports to Superintendent to maintain project schedule

* Maximize efficiency of processes and adhere to safety guidelines

* May operate power tools, machinery, and other non-motorized tools

* Protect the Companys investment in tools and equipment; maintain a clean and safe facility

* Other duties as assigned

ABOUT YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

* Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, GED equivalency, or vocational training.

* 6 months experience in a trade, construction, or manufacturing environment preferred.

* Able to lift 15 lbs.; stand for several hours at a time; generally, meet the physical demands of bending, stretching, reaching, and making repetitive movements.

* Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees

* Ability to complete a background check with successful results

* Also requires a successful drug screening and physical exam

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work in both an office setting and a manufacturing setting at times performing work related to construction projects and may be exposed to mechanical parts, industrial equipment, high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock. The noise in these work environments is usually moderate to very loud. Appropriate PPE is required. Time spent in office and / or manufacturing settings will vary.
