Senior Business Development Manager


Job Details

We are looking for a remote Senior Business Development Manager located anywhere in Ohio! In this role you will identify and work on new business opportunities in the government, education, and / or healthare space.

All the work you do is focused on energy efficiency and sustainaiblity through retrofitting HVAC, lighting, water, and more in buildings.

This position is remote and involves travel in your region. You'll have a Technical Sales Manager who handles the engineering part of the sales relationship.

This role has a six-figure base salary and full benefits including 3 weeks of vacation, 401K + match, insurance, etc. If you hit your sales goals, your commission will easily double your salary.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets and increase market share
  • Identify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and leveraging existing relationships
  • Conduct consultative selling to showcase the benefits of our complex integrated solutions
  • Manage a long sales cycle by building strong relationships with decision-makers
  • Utilize a solutions-based selling approach to tailor proposals to the specific needs of each customer

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years ofsalesexperience
  • Strong network of contacts
  • Solutions-based selling approach
  • Understanding of government procurement a plus
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Bachelor's degree
