We are seeking a Tier II/III Engineer who is proficient with Microsoft and Windows Systems Technical support within an IT Services company. Possessing a Microsoft Certification for MCSA or MCSE after 2008 is preferred, but not required. A CCNA is also a plus. This position is located in Herndon, VA and is with a small but fast growing IT company focused on providing IT support for the Financial Industry. They provide managed hosting, managed services and collocation services.Inc. Magazine has ranked it one of the fastest growing companies in the country. They are well-respected in the IT community for their innovation and employee retention due to work balance quality of life. The System Engineer will be primarily responsible for managing a small book of clients performing on-site visits and remote support.Experience working with VMware and Microsoft Systems and supporting multi-tenant environments . Being a master of TCP/IP, tier III support, and experience with switches/firewalls/routers. A qualified candidate should also have a MCSE or MCSA certification (but not required). A CCNA or VCP is also a plus.As the Tier II/III Systems Engineer, this person will provide quality network support to the customers as efficiently as possible regarding their co-located systems. The administrator will also use acquired technical writing skills to keep accurate documentation of developments and modifications. CCNA is a plus, but not required.Opportunity Location
