Mission:

We are seeking an experienced Product UX/UI Design Manager to lead our exceptional design team and contribute as a designer on high-impact projects. In this unique dual role, you will wear two hats.

What you ll be doing:

  • Manager: You will provide strategic direction and leadership to the UX/UI design team, fostering a collaborative and creative environment. Responsibilities include:
    • Setting design vision and goals aligned with product strategy.
    • Recruiting, hiring, and mentoring talented UX/UI designers.
    • Balance the needs between urgency and quality
    • Defining design processes and workflows to ensure efficiency and quality.
    • Providing ongoing coaching and feedback to help designers grow their skills.
    • Partnering with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure a user-centered approach to product development.
    • Championing design thinking within the organization.
  • Individual Contributor: You will continue to hone your design skills by actively participating in design projects. Responsibilities include:
    • Conducting user research to understand user needs and pain points.
    • Creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
    • Designing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
    • Collaborating with developers to ensure designs are implemented effectively.
    • Staying up-to-date on the latest UX/UI design trends and best practices.
  • What makes you the hero for this job?

    • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design
    • 2+ years of experience leading and mentoring a design team (or relevant experience managing projects)
    • Proven track record of shipping successful user experiences
    • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
    • A portfolio showcasing your design skills and process
    • Passion for building innovative products and a desire to make a significant impact
