Job Title: Technician II - Engine Assembly D Shift
Compensation: $44.28 per hour
Location: Huntsville, AL
Schedule: D Shift, 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM, Friday - Sunday.
Technical Skills Needed:
- Strong mechanical background, especially in the assembly of mechanical or structural parts.
- Experience in a quality control environment, ensuring high accuracy with minimal errors.
- Proficiency in using a variety of assembly tools.
- Previous experience with engine assembly (any type) is highly advantageous; candidates with experience in automotive engine manufacturing may be particularly suitable.
Responsibilities:
- Precision assembly of engine components.
- Perform diagnostic, disassembly, repair, and root cause analysis of components.
- Conduct nitrogen and helium leak testing.
- Prepare components for environmental and hydro proof structural testing.
- Uphold strict cleanliness standards for compatibility with liquid/gaseous oxygen.
- Support the design and integration of manufacturing and test equipment.
- Maintain inventory of tooling and equipment.
- Define procedures for preparing hardware for tests, qualification, and flight.
- Develop and refine manufacturing methods to improve quality, reduce costs, and optimize build schedules.
- Identify and rectify non-conformances and process deviations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing or engine assembly.
- Mastery of precision and tight tolerance assembly.
- Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and follow specifications.
- Proven experience in developing new manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication skills and software proficiency (CAD, Microsoft Office, etc).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in aerospace, aviation, or automotive fields.

- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
