**Description**

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs the duties and responsibilities of inventory accountability and control.

Receives parts and material from vendors and the naval supply system.

Processes and files packing sheets and related documents.

Update inventory records by inputting data into the computerized system.

Packages and ships parts and components to various repair facilities, detachments, aircraft rescues, outlying fields, and other T45 sites.

Processes and distributes parts and materials from receiving section.

Delivers parts to maintenance and supply work centers.

Reviews parts, material, and accompanying paperwork for discrepancies.

Stocks all parts in proper warehouse locations and adheres to proper rotation requirements.

Performs cyclic and special material inventories.

Pulls and matches documentation with parts to complete orders.

Coordinates transportation of equipment and materials to aircraft deployment locations.

Verifies part numbers, serial numbers, and descriptions to ensure accuracy.

Transports material locally using forklifts, golf carts, and other small vehicles.

Processes documentation for materials deemed as Dangerous Goods in accordance with national and international standards.

Arranges property storage areas to facilitate issue, inventory, and rotation of stocks. Affixes location symbols on storage areas, shelves, and bins to preserve the property location system. Segregates Property by type or class in accordance with fire and safety regulations and procedures. Reports material discrepancies or deficiencies to the appropriate authorities within the organization. Maintain cleanliness of the work center and around your assigned work area. Responsible for adhering to all applicable Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention rules and regulations including participation in FOD walk down when directed. Responsible for adhering to the Company Tool Control Program.

Qualification Standards:

Must be able to meet any Government/Company licensing/qualification requirements for the position.

Must have two (2) years of experience in automated inventory control of parts, materials, and equipment.

Must be able to obtain the level of security clearance required by the Government. Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent with a valid state drivers license.

Hazardous Waste Communication Training

FOD and TCP Awareness Trained

Security Clearance Awareness Training

CNAF 4790.2 Program Awareness

ISO 9001-2000 Program Awareness

NALCOMIS trained

Valid State Drivers License

Operational Risk Management (ORM) Training

Support Equipment Operators License (Forklift)
