Assistant Project Manager to operate a construction consultant/owners representative. Your new company: A commercial real estate firm in Northern Virginia who provide 3rd party, construction management advisory services to their clients specific to the Data Center real estate industry. Due to continued growth, my client is looking to recruit an Assistant Project Manager to work as an owner's representative/consultant, supporting the vision and aims of a large national owner of data centers in the USA as they continue to expand their portfolio in Northern Virginia. Your new role: As a Consultancy Assistant Project Manager you will provide professional construction project management experience to designated projects and assignments at a client site. You will Interact with client representatives on-site to ensure their vision for the real estate is met and consistently offering sound construction and real estate advice throughout pre-construction through construction. The projects my client has the most needs on at present are within the mission critical data center and also their expanding healthcare/life science sector, where you will be involved in new build and/or renovations. To be successful in this role: My client is looking for project managers with 5+ years of experience in the construction industry, either with a general contractor, construction management firm or would look at a technical electrical or mechanical subcontractor. A 4-year college degree in Architecture/Interior Design, Engineering or Construction is required. Market sector experience in Data Center/Technology, Healthcare or Life Science construction preferred but other sectors will be considered. New build or renovation experience will be considered. The benefits to you: Very competitive base salary up to $120k, 15% bonus incentive, company 401K match.
