**SUMMARY:** The Inventory Specialist will perform daily warehouse tasks as it relates to shipping and receiving goods. Issues materials from stockroom and ensures stockroom items are stored in appropriate location. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** *To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following:* **Warehouse Responsibilities:**

* Performs routine tasks involved in the shipping and receiving of materials, supplies and equipment

* Prepares and checks records including but not limited to goods shipped and received, bill of landing, purchase orders and/or other documents

* Posts weights and shipping costs

* Prepare goods for final shipment

* Maintain shipping and receiving records and inspection forms

* Complete carrier uploads and closing of shipping day procedure

* Orders and receives Electronic Data Interface (EDI) items

* Determine pickups for cardboard/paper recycling, electronic recyclables, and stencil wipes

* Maintains dock area security by ensuring all overhead doors are closed when not in use and assists all incoming and outbound delivery drivers until they have left the building

* Operate and inspect forklift daily

**Inventory/Stockroom Responsibilities:**

* Issues materials and fills orders to various departments per request(s); to include QA check sheets, sales orders, ECO's, line stock tickets etc.

* Stores and re-stocks parts and other products in bins, on floor, and/or on shelves, according to identifying information and internal processes

* Efficiently monitors and maintains bin sizing and spacing for schedule increases or decreases in quantity of parts

* Perform cycle counts daily, if needed investigates inventory discrepancies and find resolutions

**SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** *To perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to perform each secondary duty satisfactorily. Other duties or tasks may be assigned as required. Management may modify, change or add to the duties of this description at any time without notice. The secondary duties and responsibilities include the following:*

* Performs other duties as assigned

* May assist other departments on an as needed basis

* Adheres to quality system standards such as first in first out, appropriate material handling, etc., ESD requirements and safety rules pertaining to the job

* Uses visual aids, verbal and written instructions to perform job duties.

* Maintain clean work area

* Follow and enforce all Multi-Tech rules and policies

**QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:** *To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. * Basic math skills

* Good organization, observation and time management skills

* Good communication skills: written, verbal, and interpersonal

* Basic computer skills; Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel & Quantel experience preferred

* Forklift certification preferred or ability to become certified upon hire

**EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:**

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

* One year inventory and/or warehouse experience is preferred

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Moderate noise level. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; safety glasses, hearing protection, wrist and shoe straps, and ESD smock. Loose fitting clothing and jewelry are not permitted. No food allowed in manufacturing area. No cell phone use allowed in manufacturing area unless approved by management.
