This client is a premium tea bar operator with over 4,000 locations globally that inherits a rich cultural heritage of tea stretching across several thousand years.


With over 4,000 stores across Malaysia, China, Singapore, and Thailand, and a staggering 100 million cups of tea served monthly, they are now expanding to the US market.


As their Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and success of the organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and profitability of the company. Reporting to Senior Director, Accounting and Finance and US CEO.


What you ll do:

  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to analyze business performance, forecast future financial outcomes, and support strategic initiatives.
  • Investment Management: Manage the financial aspects of investments for new store openings, including conducting ROI analysis, assessing financial feasibility, and optimizing capital allocation.
  • Profit Estimation: Estimate profitability for various projects, initiatives, and investments, considering factors such as revenue projections, cost structures, and market dynamics.
  • Payback Period Analysis: Determine the payback periods for investments and projects to evaluate their financial viability and prioritize resource allocation.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, analysis, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key insights and performance metrics.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the budgeting process and collaborate with stakeholders to develop accurate financial forecasts and plans.
  • Risk Management: Identify financial risks and opportunities, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor financial performance to ensure compliance with financial objectives and regulations.
  • Coordinate with global finance and internal control team to set up necessary internal controls (segregation of duties, reviews, approvals) within the US finance department.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA or CFA certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience with 5+ years in financial analysis, investment management, and financial modeling.
  • QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) industry experience preferred, with a solid understanding of industry-specific financial dynamics and metrics.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, financial modeling software, and other analytical tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful insights.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey financial concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Fluency in Mandarin language preferred.
