Foundation Relations Manager


Job Details

The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for a Foundation Relations Manager to join a local non-profit that provides support to families dealing with acute medical concerns. The Foundation Giving Manager will build strategic relationships with individual and corporate foundations, collaborate with leadership to develop stewardship plans, and help with developing a strategic vision for foundation giving.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Write and develop grant proposals, project concepts, and reports
  • Proactively identify foundation prospects with the capacity for awards of $100k
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with stakeholders at foundations
  • Develop and implement stewardship plans
  • Collaborate with marketing staff on content development for PR materials
  • Attend and represent the non-profit at events


Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in foundation or corporate fundraising
  • Stewardship and grant writing experience required
  • Knowledge of local foundations helpful
  • Raiser s Edge or Salesforce strongly preferred
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills
