Universal Traffic Service, a rapidly growing transportation management company, seeks a self-motivated Account Executive to operate in the Chicago IL. regional area. This position is focused exclusively on selling our portfolio of transportation management services to prospects and on strengthening relationships with current clients. To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum two years of outside sales experience. Experience in the transportation / logistics industry is helpful but not required. We are more interested in hiring a proven, results oriented, sales professional.
Requirements include:
Minimum 2 years outside sales experience.
Excellent direct sales skills (developing leads, presenting to senior executives, and closing sales).
A network of business contacts at the Controller, CFO, and CEO levels in the Chicago IL. regional area.
A self-disciplined and self-motivated work ethic.
Ability to perform at a high level without close supervision.
Essential Responsibilities:
Conduct Lead generation activities including cold calling, networking, and other business prospecting methods.
Build and maintain your territory sales pipeline through active prospecting to develop leads, secure meetings with potential clients and meet assigned pipeline goals.
Create customized presentations from company templates for initial meeting and proposal presentations
Report and assess sales margin, revenue, activity, and results of your pipeline with manager on a regular basis
Responsible to achieve sales KPI performance goals related to, meetings, studies, proposals, signings, margin and revenue for new business acquisition and client retention
Learn and be able to effectively demonstrate myUTS and other technology systems to prospects and clients
Manage the new client implementation process by coordinating with key internal UTS contacts and the client ensuring all implementation tasks are complete and ready for start up
Act as the face of the organization by conducting regular on-site existing client performance reviews to identify opportunities and challenges and then working with internal team members to provide resolution when necessary.
Document all sales activity in a timely and accurately in the UTS CRM.

On Target Earnings: $75,000 to $85,000 in year one and $85,000-$104,000 in year two. Plus $0.67 a mile, employee stock distributions and company wide profit sharing.
