Job Details
**The Gate Attendant** controls entry into the Garden at walk-in gates and controls parking and the security of vehicles at the Twin Lakes parking lot.
Additionally, this position supports, through actions and conduct, NYBGs Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility initiatives and actively helps to build and maintain an inclusive organizational culture throughout the institution.
**Specific Duties & Responsibilities:**
* Screens visitors as they enter the Garden.
* Provides security of all parked vehicles parked in staff parking areas.
* Promotes positive customer service.
* Utilizes two-way radio.
**Schedule:**
* Saturday & Sunday, 10am-6pm.
**Requirements:**
* A valid New York State Driver's License.
* Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
