The Encompass Group is partnering with a leading architectural firm in search of a Healthcare Director. This firm not only specializes in healthcare design but also offers a flexible hybrid work schedule, including half-day Fridays.

Qualifications :

  • 15+ years of experience leading healthcare projects (e.g., medical office, imaging, ED, inpatient/outpatient, patient services, surgery centers, medical and master planning)
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in architecture or interiors from an accredited college/university
  • Professional architectural registration preferred
  • Proven track record of winning project pursuits
  • Strong design portfolio
  • Ability to interpret financial statements and metrics
  • Financial management and profit/loss capability
  • Contract and risk management capability
  • Ability to delegate tasks effectively
  • Initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership skills
  • Thorough knowledge of contract administration, office procedures, and quality project management processes and methodologies
  • Working knowledge of consultant work and meeting deadlines
  • In-depth understanding of building systems and applicable codes/regulations
  • General knowledge of AutoCAD/BIM/Revit and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent leadership, mentoring, writing, and communication skills
  • Commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture
  • LEED accreditation and EDAC certification preferred



Requirements:


Project Management:

  • Provides guidance to project managers and project architects, overseeing complex projects.
  • Monitors project status and accounts receivables.
  • Mentors project staff to enhance decision-making and problem-solving abilities.


Marketing:

  • Develops viable leads and maintains industry contacts to secure new work.
  • Assists in contract negotiations and proposal development.
  • Demonstrates thought leadership through publications and presentations.
  • Tracks and interprets legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Attends networking events to promote brand recognition.


Administration and Financial Management:

  • Develops and improves project management methodologies.
  • Participates in team performance management, training, and selection.
  • Demonstrates business acumen in budgeting, labor forecasting, fee setting, and risk management.
