The Information Technology Project Manager (IT PM) will be responsible for managing all phases of our product implementation projects, as well as developing high-level project scope, deliverables, and milestones. The IT PM will conduct meetings, evaluate customer needs, and track and analyze technical components of projects, assign responsibilities, assist manager and team, gather, and understand business needs, troubleshoot any technical issues that arise, successfully test, and demo products, and ensure timely resolution.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients to define specific project requirements.
  • Create and manage detailed documentation related to project scope, objectives, desired outcome, and deliverables of the project.
  • Track and accomplish client's information technology objectives from project initiation to implementation.
  • Effectively communicate project status, issues, schedule and accomplishments to various management and technical groups, as needed.
  • Efficiently identify and troubleshoot any issues with the information technology solution implementation.
  • Manage interactions/escalations and consult clients on project delivery, process, technology as well as business needs.
  • Perform quality control on projects throughout development to maintain the standards expected.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
  • Provide, execute, and manage strategic information technology plans to implement technical solutions successfully.
  • Recommend information technology policies and solutions based on evaluation of client needs and ask.
  • Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.
  • Ensure that assigned projects are conducted in compliance with applicable regulatory, information technology, enterprise, and departmental regulations, guidance, policies, procedures, and methodologies.
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices, techniques, and standards, and encourage team members to use them for effective project execution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of work experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and best practice Project Management Methodology.
  • Prior experience in project management and deploying products to a customer.
  • Demonstrated competence using MS tools, including MS Office products, MS project, and Visio or comparable tools.
  • Solid technical background, with a strong foundation in Information Technology and Project Management principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects at a time.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
