Job Summary:


We are hiring a Sales Coordinator! The Sales Coordinator serves in an administrative support role for the organization. They are responsible for providing excellent customer service, engaging with new prospects in a timely manner, and setting appointments and expectations about the sales process. They help foster a long-term positive impression of our organization within the community by being informative and honest with everyone they interact with.


Full-time, hourly, non-exempt

Starting at $20.00/hr based on experience


Job Responsibilities:


Administrative & Customer Experience:

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls (leads and non-leads) to appropriate person/departments and take messages as necessary
  • Manage Sugar Hollow Solar primary email account and route/respond to emails in a timely manner
  • Support the Marketing and Development team and Director of Sales with the email marketing program on marketing initiatives that have a positive impact, while promoting re-engagement, customer marketing & building brand loyalty
  • Attend scheduled Marketing, All-Staff meetings, and select special events
  • Manage customer service and communication related to non-sales coordination with clients.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist in tracking, documenting, and resolving customer concerns

Sales Coordinating:

  • Receive company leads via phone or email and follow up in a timely manner
  • Schedule initial appointments (Solar and Battery leads) for the sales team and potential clients, update the calendar, and ensure automated email goes out to new lead
  • Process, follow up, and qualify leads by collecting information and validating home and/or business specifications from potential customers
  • Report metrics (current leads, appointments set, etc.) on a weekly and monthly basis to the Director of Marketing and Development.

Internal Marketing and Development:

  • Work under the direction of the Director of Marketing and Development and Insightly Admin on special non-recurring and ongoing projects including but not limited to event support, apparel and inventory tracking, CRM (Insightly) support & management for Marketing & Sales departments to fully utilize the software


Requirements:


  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent phone etiquette and knowledge of multi-line/cloud-based phone systems
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite and Google Suite
  • Experience using CRM software preferred
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and/or kneeling for extended periods of time
  • Occasionally lifts, carries, and moves office products and supplies, weighing up to 20 pounds
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred, but not required
  • Past administrative experience is a plus
