We are looking for a candidate who wants a rewarding career in service and who possesses the following Necessary Qualifications: * Must have at least 2 years of exemplary Customer Service experience via phone, email and chat

* High School Degree or GED Required, Criminal Justice background a plus.

* Fair Credit Reporting Act Certification a plus (FCRA)

* Typing speed requirement is 45 wpm (this will be tested)

* Experienced working from home in a previous job, preferably working on a remote based team

* Technologically savvy and comfortable with communication tools such as MS Teams, Zoom, Microsoft Office, Zendesk, Authorize.net, etc.

* You must have a private permanent home office space to work in (this is subject to our approval), with highspeed internet.

Customer Care Specialist

Full time, Monday-Friday, 40 hours week

Primary Responsibilities:

* Manage inbound / outbound calls and chat sessions for customer employment screening and licensing

* Maintain effective records of all calls/chats handling each with discretion and confidentiality

* Ensure all orders and requests are followed up on in a timely manner

* Exceed client expectations and service level agreements

* Ensure payments of orders via invoicing, credit card or mail in payment. Notify the appropriate departments.

* Provide accurate and prompt ETA updates to clients

* Forward client updates to the appropriate department

* Ensure compliant security procedures when dealing with personal identifying information

* Add new users under existing corporate accounts as necessary, maintaining the updated file for each client

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

* Knowledge of principals and processes for providing exceptional customer service, including needs assessments, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

* Excellent active listening skills able to give full attention to client communication, taking the time to understand client needs, asking questions when appropriate, and not interrupting client explanation.

* Ability to effectively communicate information in writing or verbally so others will understand (via phone, chat or email)

* Strong ability to plan, prioritize and accomplish work, meeting strict deadlines

* Must be able to maintain detailed, confidential, accurate records

* Ability to handle all assignments with discretion and confidentiality

Working Environment:

* This position requires a permanent private office area with a desk, ethernet cable and high-speed internet. CRC provides the necessary equipment such as computer, monitor, etc. Prior approval of workspace must be obtained prior to installation of company supplied equipment.

* This position is full-time, 40 hours week, 8 hours a day, Monday-Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm with one hour for lunch. Occasional additional hours including Saturday or Sunday.

* All new hires start at $13.50/hr

* MUST be a resident of North Carolina, and authorized to work in the US

* Must have reliable transportation to physical office in Raleigh, NC

* After a successful 90 day introductory period, CRC offers access to medical, dental and vision benefits, as well as PTO and paid holidays.
