Network Analyst

12-month Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate - $30.00 - $35.00/hr (Depending on years of experience)
As a Network Analyst, you will assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining our client s data center network infrastructure. The Network Analyst will play a critical role within this team in responding to incident tickets and supporting network transformation projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to grow their career network technology within the energy and utilities sector.
Responsibilities
- Assist in supporting network infrastructure components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network-related projects and initiatives.
- Implement security measures to protect the integrity and confidentiality of network data.
- Assist in the documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Help support data center-related network enterprise projects.
- Run scripts to automate various network administrative tasks.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Knowledge of networking principles, protocols, and firewalls, including TCP/IP, VLANs, and VPN
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Experience supporting and configuring routers and switches.
- Hands-on experience with configuring and managing routers and switches.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
