Fairfax, VirginiaWhat You'll Be Doing:Perform financial analysis and project control in support of ongoing program managementSupport the monthly business rhythms of both the program and finance organizationsConducts complex financial analysis (variance analysis, risk analysis, profit/loss analysis, etc.).Assist with the processing and maintenance of AP functions related to Vaxcom subcontractors and vendorsAssist with the processing and collection of monthly client invoicingResponsible for monthly accrualsLiaison between operations and other administrative support organizations on financial issues. Interfaces with subcontractors, vendors, and customers and performs extensive investigations as required.Reports, analyzes, and interprets financial and operating data from various sources to include: ad hoc reports, General Ledger Reports, and P&L StatementsInterfaces with top management and Finance Director, responding to their requests for financial data.What Required Skills You'll Bring:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline, plus min 2 years of related experienceExperience using Deltek Costpoint and Deltek Time and ExpenseMust have experience performing program control & financial analysis supportExperienced in working collaboratively with cross-functional teamsMust have advanced Microsoft Excel SkillsAbility to prioritize tasks and ability to work on multiple items at onceWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:Experience supporting senior level executives on financial performance of the Business UnitAbility to read contracts to make sure invoices are created and follow the Customer/DCAA/FAR requirementsMonitor project funding and proactively work with PM and necessary corporate departmentsExperience with Revenue recognition and analysis and the monthly close cycleExperience preparing proposals, ROMs, and/or engineering change proposals (ECPs)Experience with budgeting , forecasting, and tracking multiple projects/budgetsCan work independently and with short/tight deadlinesMinimum Clearance Required to Start:Top Secret This position is part of our Federal Solutions team. Salary Range:$92,200.00 - $161,400.00
