Joseph s is seeking a part time Customer Service and Sales Assistant who will be responsible for providing an outstanding level of customer service and satisfaction to consumers of Joseph s Bakery bread products. This individual will possess a high level of interpersonal skills, have a strong attention to detail and the ability to think ahead and prioritize tasks. Job Description & Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Sales Support

  • Mid-day coverage of consumer inquiries via phone, email, and chat via ZenDesk platform.
  • Reply to inquiries in a manner which supports company policies and reflects the brand voice.
  • Identify and contribute to ongoing process improvement including FAQ creation / refinement.
  • Assist with monthly customer service report including reporting of trends, issues & improvements.
  • Sales support including: data input, presentation preparation, sample and display request coordination and reporting requests.
  • Additional duties as needed by business demands.


Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years experience in a customer service role is required, preferably working with consumers (B2C).
  • 1-2 years experience in a sales support role is preferred.
  • Strong communication and people skills including oral and written formats that are audience appropriate.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for customer service which includes active listening abilities, empathy, patience, and an overall positive approach.
  • Focus on problem solving and taking responsibility for resolving issues with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a team environment under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to respond to time sensitive requests and juggle multiple projects.
  • Acts with integrity in processes, relationships, and communications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Prior experience with ZenDesk and e-commerce is preferred.
  • Interest in and working knowledge of the food industry.


Job Location: Lawrence, MA (on-site, must be available to come into the office)

Position type: Part Time (up to 30 hours), with 10am to 2pm as core hours, potential for full time

Relocation: Local candidates only (no relocation)
