About the role

A globally known firm and leader in High-End Hospitality Design world is looking for an Intermediate Interior Designer with 4+ years of Hotel Interior design experience. This is an awesome opportunity to work on the world's most luxurious resorts, hotels, and lifestyle properties.


Responsibilities:

-Develops design concepts that serve the goals and functions of the space

-Keeps the project phases on schedule and within budget

-Selects materials and finishes, furniture, lighting and artwork

-Creates space plans, furniture and equipment layouts, lighting plans

-Renders design ideas and prepares 2D and 3D presentation and design drawings

-Helps to create client presentations and deliverables that adhere to the brand standards and prioritizes sustainability

-Communicates with other disciplines, vendors, and contractors to incorporate all required information into the project

-Understands technical regulations and code compliance

- Prepare specification manuals for interior finishes, furnishings, and equipment


Skills/ Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture

- 4+ years of hospitality interior design experience

- Strong knowledge of design, construction, building systems, codes, and FF&E.

- Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Suite, DesignSmart, AutoCAD, Sketchup. Some Revit experience preferred.

-Must be local to the Los Angeles area and have reliable transportation to Downtown Los Angeles. This is a hybrid role but you must be able to come into the office 3-4 times a week.

-You must have the right to work within the U.S.
