Job Details

SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, the Mechanic is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing manufacturing equipment and fixtures.

JOB DUTIES

Conducts regular maintenance on machinery, systems, and fixtures.

Meets with clients to better understand their concerns and identify the issue.

Examines machines and oversee diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems.

Maintains work logs, repairs, and maintenance records.

Helps carry out a plan of action for all maintenance tasks and upgrades.

Assembles mechanical components according to specifications.

Maintains equipment parts inventory and orders parts as needed.

Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

This job typically requires a high school diploma or GED and zero (0) to two (2) years of experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

Work effectively with customers, peers, and management to resolve issues.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to operate shop equipment safely.

Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
