Sales calling on Agricultural/Bakeries

Our client is a privately held manufacturer of closures, labels and equipment. We are looking for an outside sales rep in Northern or Southern California to sell primarily into the AGRICULTURE and BAKERY markets. The territory includes CA, AZ, NM, CO, MX and SOUTH AMERICA. Travel will be 50%.

This position will require new business development and account management of existing business. This person will sell both direct to end users and through a few large distributors, depending on the best way to service the account.

• 40% overnight travel
• Spanish speaking
• Experience with selling in Mexico or South America or the willingness to do so
• Experience least 3 years of outside sales experience
• Experience selling into either Bakeries or Produce is a strong plus
• Experience selling both equipment and consumables is a strong plus
• Experience working with distributors is a strong plus

Initial compensation will consist of a base salary of 70-90K + producing accounts, 750 car allowance, and full benefits. Range is 120-180K guaranteed income based on experience and income. A successful candidate will be expected to add substantially to whatever the initial comp package is.
