Job Details

Akkodis is seeking a 3rd Shift Computer Operator for a contract hire opportunity with our client in Greater Houston, area. This will be an onsite opportunity 11:00pm-7:00am. Qualified Computer Operators will have at least 1 year of Help Desk/Technical Support/Computer Operator experience.


Pay/Salary Range: $22/HR


Technical Skills:


Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM


Qualifications:

  • experience in a help desk or technical support role is required, preferably in an enterprise environment.
  • in operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux), networking concepts, and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • to effectively monitor multiple systems and respond promptly to alerts and notifications.
  • ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently and efficiently.
  • verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
  • to work overnight hours, including weekends and holidays, as part of a rotating schedule.


Responsibilities:

  • computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • routine system checks, backups, and updates during off-peak hours to minimize disruption to business operations.
  • to alerts and notifications regarding system failures, security breaches, or other critical incidents, following established protocols and escalation procedures.
  • accurate records of system activities, including incidents, resolutions, and operational procedures.
  • end-users and colleagues experiencing technical difficulties, either remotely or onsite, as needed.
