About the roleThe Social Media Marketing Coordinator position can sit in either our Irvine, CA or Norcross, GA offices and is a temporary position through the end of the summer. The role will support our Marketing team with their social media outreach and other marketing duties as assigned.Salary range: $20/HRWhat you'll do* Develop creative and engaging social media posts primarily for LinkedIn to increase brand awareness and engagement.* Utilize Canva and other graphic design tools to create visually appealing content for social media posts, marketing collateral, and marketing campaigns.* Manage content calendars, schedule posts, and assist in monitoring social media channels to optimize engagement and audience interaction.* Assist in managing company website content.* Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns.* Assist in organizing and coordinating virtual and in-person events.* Contribute to copywriting efforts using established frameworks to craft messages that resonate with our target audience and support content strategy goals.* Compile reports on social media analytics and other marketing activities for the Director of Marketing to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.* Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in content marketing, social media, and digital technologies to suggest improvements and innovative approaches.What you have* Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.* Comfortable working in a remote environment, with the ability to attend in-person meetings in Irvine, CA or Atlanta, GA once a month.* Strong interest in content creation, social media, and digital marketing, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.* Basic experience in graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to produce clear, compelling copy.* Proficient use of computers, including MS Office, Google Suite, etc.* Basic knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing.* Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.* Creative thinker with a problem-solving attitude and a collaborative spirit.* Proficiency in social media platforms and analytics tools is a plus.What you can expectThere's so much more to enjoy about being at Computacenter than just having a rewarding career.
