THE ROLE:


As our Business Development Manager, you'll be at the forefront of exploring new horizons in warehouse automation. This role is tailor-made for those with an insatiable curiosity and a knack for uncovering hidden opportunities. You'll delve deep into the intricacies of the industry, identify untapped markets, and spearhead initiatives that set new standards in warehouse efficiency and productivity.


KEY DUTIES:


Strategic Planning: Set the Business Unit s long-term goals and objectives, ensuring that business development initiatives align with the overall company s strategy.


Revenue Generation: Responsible for meeting revenue and profitability targets globally.


Identifying Opportunities: Responsible for researching and identifying potential business opportunities, markets, and clients. This involves staying informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.


Building Partnerships and Alliances: Developing strategic partnerships and alliances. This can involve negotiating and establishing partnerships with other companies, vendors, or organizations to create mutually beneficial collaborations.


Market Expansion: Expanding our reach into new markets. This could involve entering new geographic regions, targeting different customer segments, or introducing products/services to untapped markets.


Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and customers is essential. The BDM works to understand client needs, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.


Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating risks associated with new business opportunities. This includes conducting due diligence on potential partnerships, assessing market risks, and making informed decisions to minimize potential negative impacts.


Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and other networking opportunities to build relationships and stay informed about industry developments.


Negotiation and Deal Making: Engage in negotiations either directly or indirectly through our Direct Sales Force or External Sales Representatives, whether it's closing deals with clients, forming partnerships, or securing agreements.


Continuous Learning: Stay informed about changes in the business environment, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
