CNC MACHINIST

Responsibilities:

  • Set up, program, and operate CNC horizontal milling machines
  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary
  • Collaborate with engineers and production team to ensure accuracy and quality of finished parts
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications and troubleshoot any issues
  • Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of machines and tools
Essential Job Functions:
  • Experience with CNC machining, specifically in horizontal milling
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
  • Knowledge of MasterCAM software preferred
  • Familiarity with CNC controls such as Fanuc, HAAS, and Milltronics
  • G&L boring mill experience is a plus
Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects

Salary: $20 to $30 per hour depending on skills and experience
