CNC MACHINIST

Responsibilities:
- Set up, program, and operate CNC horizontal milling machines
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary
- Collaborate with engineers and production team to ensure accuracy and quality of finished parts
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications and troubleshoot any issues
- Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of machines and tools
Essential Job Functions: - Experience with CNC machining, specifically in horizontal milling
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Knowledge of MasterCAM software preferred
- Familiarity with CNC controls such as Fanuc, HAAS, and Milltronics
- G&L boring mill experience is a plus
Skills: - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
Salary: $20 to $30 per hour depending on skills and experience
