**POSITION: Mobile Meal Assistant**

**DEPARTMENT:** Oakland Garden St

**SUPERVISOR:** HR/Business Manager

**STATUS:** Temp/Part time 15 to 20 hours per week

- **BASIC PURPOSE**

The purpose of this position is to provide support and assistant with our Mobile Meal Program.

- **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

- Prepare and pack mobile meals

- Ensure meals are loaded each day for delivery

- Accompany Mobile Meals person to hand out and track where and how many meals are handed out daily. Keep accurate records for monthly reports to submit to Alameda County.

- **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS**

- High School Diploma

- Ability to speak and write the English language at a high and professional level

- High degree of confidentially

- Computer literate, in Windows environment (Microsoft Office), Publisher, Access and Lotus Notes preferred

- Excellent communication skills, both written and v

- Excellent organizational skills

- Strong ability to utilize a high level of time management and handling multiple tasks

- **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:**

- Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis

- Ability to grasp, push, and/or pull objects

- Ability to reach overhead

- Ability to operate telephone

- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

- Ability to operate a computer

- Ability to process written, visual, and/or verbal information

- Ability to operate basic office equipment and tools PC, Fax Machine, Telephone, Calculator, Copier, Printer

- Miscellaneous office equipment including but not limited to staplers, three-hole punch, etc.
